Uppsala Cricket Förening was founded in the year 2003 by five enthusiastic cricketers. The club was registered at Swedish Tax Office (Skatteverket) in 2006 having organization number 802433-9379. Uppsala Cricket Förening is a member of Swedish Cricket Federation. The club started playing friendly matches with the teams in Sweden since it's foundation and also participated in some of the T20 tournaments. First entered into Swedish National League in 2007 and finished fifth. Uppsala Cricket Förening has taken many initiatives in the year 2008, thanks to the sponsors for helping us in achieving our goals. Uppsala Cricket Förening is committed to promote the game "Cricket" in Sweden.
2008 so far was quite significant for UCF. The main achievement is the new ground and restructuring of the team. The team is very balanced and comitted for best performance.
