Uppsala Cup 2008

Uppsala Cricket Förening is pleased to announce hosting of "Uppsala Cup 2008" from 27th June till 29th June i.e Week 26. This is the first time Uppsala Cricket Förening is organizing T20 tournament in it's home ground Uppsala. Uppsala Cup would be hosted every year now onwards. We would be sending the schedule well ahead.

Below are some important announcements.
 
1. Total Teams 6
2. Entry Fee 250 SEK per team
3. Dates are 
       Friday      27 Jun 08  -  1 Matche
       Sunday    29 Jun 09   - 1 Matche + Grand Finale

4. There would be two groups.
5. Two teams would qualify for Final on Sunday, 1 team from each group.
6. Final would be in the afternoon. (See match and time details below)
7. Uppsala Cricket Förening would provide snacks to all visiting teams.
8. There would be following exciting prizes
     - Champion Trophy
     - Runner up Trophy
     - Medals for all team members of Champion and Runner up teams
     - Man of the match, except final - Trophy & Gift Voucher
     - Man of the match - Final only - Two Cruise tickets for 3 days
     - Best Batsman of the series - Trophy & Gift voucher
     - Best Bowler of the series - Trophy & Gift Voucher
     - Highest number of sixes - Trophy & Gift Voucher
   
9. We are looking for umpires for each of these matches. Roundtrip transportation cost for the umpires would be born by Uppsala Cricket Förening.
10. Match Schedule as it would look like (I innings would be of 20 overs)

   15:00 - 18:30       Nacka CC Vs SICC

The tournament will follow the T20 rules and regulations. The tournament rules and regulations would be sent once the participations are confirmed.
